What are reservation passes and how are they used?

Take Air is an all-you-can-fly and not an all-you-can-book airline. A basic membership consists of 2 reservation passes. Those reservation passes give you the opportunity to book flights. So when you book a seat on a flight, one reservation pass is used (virtually). As soon as you show up for the flight (board), the reservation pass is released you can book your next flight. Of course you can buy more reservation passes, which gives you the opportunity to book more flights and enjoy even more flexibility.

What happens if my flight is fully booked?

When your flight is fully booked you may chose to subscribe on the waiting list for that flight. If someone cancels that flight you will be notified and you will be able to join the flight. Obviously you don’t need to use your reservation pass for your place on the waiting list, so you will be able to book another flight.

How should I cancel my reservation?

Plans change… don’t worry. All you need to do is log in to the Take Air website and select the flight you want to cancel (free of charge). Surely we advise you to cancel if you know you will not make it to the flight. This will open up a seat for another member to take the flight instead. If the first time you aren’t able to cancel 3 hours before the flight, there will be no penalty. After that, if you forget to cancel at least 3 hours before the plane leaves, we will block one of your reservation passes for 5 days. We do this because we want to encourage our members to be courteous to our fellow Take Air members.

What happens if I don't show up?

If you don’t show up and you didn’t cancel your flight 3 hours before, we will block one of your reservations for 5 days. Of course, you will still be able to book and fly using your remaining reservation passes during that period. This is our way to encourage you to be responsible to the Take Air community and allow the full flying benefit to your fellow members.

What type of aircraft will Take air use?

Take Air will use a Beechcraft King Air, which is a beautiful and efficient business plane. It is called the SUV of the aviation, because it is comfortable, reliable and flexible. Our planes are equipped with 6 or even 9 seats depending on the series (200, 250 or 350) or configuration.

Is such an aircraft loud?

Our aircrafts are quieter than many other private jets. During the flight you'll be able to sleep, work or have a chat with the other members.

Two professional and skilled pilots will take you safely to your destination. The Take Air pilots have the same experience, training and type of license as any other commercial airline pilot in Europe.

Is there a toilet on board?

Members can bring one piece of luggage, the size of a standard IATA size cabin bag (length 56 cm, width 45 cm and depth 25 cm). You may bring a bigger piece for free, just inform your Airport Angel to make sure it is accepted.

If the flight gets delayed or cancelled, we will guaranty the best service to make this inconvenience as pleasant as possible.
